SUSO chandler endnotes

It was a great conference, and I am going home with lots of new info and ideas. Some of this has already been posted. Other stuff will follow. Thanks to all the diocal folk (over 20 people) who joined us.

Future conferences are already being planned; see my earlier blog entry for dates.

Welcome home form SUSO! Thanks to Holly for planning and coordinating such an enriching event! Thanks to Michael for his energy and work in developing this resource for the Diocese! I thought some of you might appreciate the following survey or at least find the results interesting.

How does WHERE you live shape WHO you are?

Nationalgeographic.com, working with Northwestern University and a diverse group of scholars, set out in the fall of 1998 to seek answers to that age-old question in a new way—via the Web. They crafted Survey 2000, an interactive questionnaire about location and mobility, and their effects on values and cultural tastes. Exactly 80,012 people from 178 countries and territories logged on, creating a wealth of data. Learn what they had to say.
