echo boomers

Everyone wants young people in their congregations. But are young people of 2004 different from the young people of 1994 or 1984? Here's some interesting info from CBS's 60 Minutes:

From the CBS 60 Minutes web site:
"If you've ever wondered why corporate America, Hollywood, Madison Avenue and the media all seem obsessed with the youth culture, the answer is simple.

The largest generation of young people since the l960s is beginning to come of age. It's called "echo boomers" because they’re the genetic offspring and demographic echo of their parents, the baby boomers. "
